Outdoor Man is a sporting goods store located in Denver, Colorado. It is where Mike Baxter works as a director for marketing. It was founded by Ed Alzate, who is also the manager. The store first appears in the series' pilot episode.

Ed started a bait and tackle shop many years ago and hired Mike, who helped turn the chain into the 20-store Outdoor Man.

Role[]
Mike Baxter works as a director for marketing for the chain. A recurring element used throughout the series is making "vlogs" for the store to exhibit his political rants. Mike often finds himself annoyed with younger and obtuse employee Kyle, and his politically liberal son-in-law, Ryan, who is also the father of Mike's grandson, Boyd.
